We had a great summer tour with lovely venues and weren’t rained off anywhere for a nice change.
Wheelbirks Farm Open Day went well but very breezy! Managed to hold down most of the music to play at our last ever Wheelbirks event as the owners are retiring later this year.

Grainger Market was looking beautiful following extensive renovations giving us a bit more space to play in.

Sadly new management changes mean that its likely this was our last visit as Newcastle Council are now charging performers to play in the market.

Sunny day at Wallington.

It was nice to be back after many years away from Wallington NT . Half the band got sone shade in the snazzy looking tent.

Wylam Fair

Next a grand day out at Beamish this time playing in the old Hetton Silver Band Room entertaining the cross flocking to watch the World Quoits Championship nearby.
Bit of a tight squeeze but we made it!

Prudhoe Music by the Riverside annual day of entertainment rounded off the summer.
A great day of local talent organised by Prudhoe Community Partnership. Lovely to be involved as always.

We are back to rehearsals in September so always a good time to welcome any new members who would like to give us a try. Just come along and say hello, you will be very welcome.
